How could I speed up my computer processor?
I have a dell lab top with 1.40ghz processor, I need 2 ghz processor, is there anything I could buy to plug into my lab top to speed it up, or anything I could download? Any help, answer here or email me at roman_porras@yahoo.com

Wow, that’s a slow processor. No, you can’t speed it up and laptops are considerably harder to upgrade.. just buy a new laptop!
Have you ever tried a simple disk defragmentation to easily make your computer run faster as waht you can see here: http://ezinearticles.com/?Disk-Defragmentation%A1%AAMake-Computers-Run-Faster-Soon&id=3162755? Below are just some other tricks I have heard before that can increase your computers performance to new, without upgrading. It is sure that, at some point in time you’ll have to upgrade the RAM modules, or graphics card, or maybe even purchase a whole new computer package, but this will give you some added performance without spending the extra dollar
1) Uninstall the programs that you don’t need.
2) Delete the files you don’t need (even if they are 250kb or less) – You can obtain highest disk performance when your hard drive space isn’t over 25% used.
3) Use the disk clean-up option in Windows to regularly clean up the system junk files.
4) Turn off System Restore feature
5) Use a reliable registry cleaner to clear the windows registry
6) Regularly scan the computer for viruses and spyware
Once you have done the above point, follow the steps below
* Defragment your hard drive <- A GOOD solution to speeding up your computer by effectively managing the files on the hard disk.
* Turn on the real-time safeguard of your anti-virus program to protect your computer at any time.
These are what I have done when trying to speed up my computer, and wish it helps you, too!
